Fractured Kingdom

A strategy adventure where mastering fractions means ruling a kingdom.

Fractured Kingdom is a game-based learning adventure designed for players aged 8–12, with a focus on building a deep understanding of fractions through immersive, contextual gameplay.

In this medieval-themed experience, you play as the ruler of a growing kingdom. To expand your land and defend your people, you’ll need more than just bravery—you’ll need sharp math skills. Every action in the game—from dividing land and scouting enemy territory, to marching across fraction-based number lines and strategizing for battle—requires real understanding of fractions.

Unlike traditional “gamified” learning tools that wrap worksheets in rewards, Fractured Kingdom is built from the ground up as a true game-based learning system. Fractions aren't tacked on—they're embedded directly into the mechanics, meaning players learn by doing in a world where math has meaning.

Future updates will introduce a prior knowledge check and an AI-powered reflection system where players are debriefed by “battle sergeant” characters powered by LLMs—helping kids not only play, but think deeply about their strategies.
